Toe-Cane Watershed Coordinator
This project spans three counties and has support from local citizens, local industry, non-governmental organizations and local, state, and federal governments. This exciting endeavor hopes to improve the water quality of the watershed by implementing on-the-ground improvement projects, by providing education and outreach to the public, and by building a strong and lasting community partnership. Recently, the watershed plan for the North Toe River was approved by the 319 Grant Program, therefore granting eligibility for 319 restoration implementation funds.
