Blue Ridge RC&D will be hosting a live staking workshop in Yancey County on Friday, November 3rd. The workshop will consist of an indoor section where participants will learn about live staking, invasive species control, erosion, and stream bank stabilization. Following the indoor section, with newly learned information and live stakes, we will be heading out to the river to practice proper staking installation techniques. Lunch will be provided for those who pre-register; registration is limited to 20 people per workshop.
